Persimmon Harvest and Hoshigaki Workshop

We’ll pick from a number of urban persimmon trees, including mostly hachiya but some fuyu as well. Afterwards there is a workshop on making hoshigaki, a Japanese delicacy created by peeling and air-drying whole unripe persimmons.
The harvest will be on the east side of Santa Cruz, the workshop on the west side. To reserve a spot please RSVP to [email protected], or 425-0667.
