Every year we are invited to pick thousands of pounds of fruit from trees planted and cared for by others. While we couldn’t possibly return to every site, we do try to return at least to a few each year to give back to the owners and to the trees. In this case we’ll be going to a large horse ranch that was once an orchard, and still has several Santa Rosa plums and various apple trees.
This is not an educational workshop, but a workday for people who already have experience caring for fruit trees. It is also extremely helpful if participants bring their own tools, including ladders, although we can arrange for additional equipment if necessary.
If interested please RSVP to Steve at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A few sprinkles won’t cancel, but any significant rain will postpone to the following rain dates: Sunday Jan 4th, or if that also rains out then the following Saturday Jan 10th, or final possible rain date Sunday Jan 11th.
